  • Entry of technicians and their unrestricted movement in Surinam. Free entry of necessary supplies and equipment for the operation. Permission to overfly the coastal area and to land U.S. Air
  • Force and IAGS aircraft at regularly established fields and in remote areas. It is planned to utilize RB-50, C-47, amphibious and lidson type aircraft, as well as helicopters. RB-50 type aircraft will not land, except in an emergency, at any field other than the base of operations. The base of operations for this project has not been selected. If the base is proposed for Surinam, a separate request will be forwarded.
  • Permission to accomplish aerial photographic activities essential to the successful conduct of this project. The aerial photography will consist of:
    a. Short, right angle, lines of ninety percent overlap over each secondary control point.
    b. High and low level oblique and vertical photographs of each ground station for indentification purposes.
  • Permission to hire, through locally designated representatives of the Governor, necessary manual labor.
  • Permission to establish permanent, geodetic markers as required.
  • Permission to operate small, waterborne craft in coastal waters and streams for the purpose of supporting field parties.
  • The name of the individual or agency through whom the Inter American Geodetic Survey can coordinate its activity.
