Details: Various progressive Surinamese organizations in the Netherlands met to achieve unity in political thought and action. The initiative was led by the Wageningen branch of the Surinamese Students Association (SSV). Seven organizations participated, creating a coordinating body called LOSON to represent Surinamese interests and coordinate actions.

Significance: This marked the beginning of a structured movement to align Surinamese organizations in the Netherlands under a unified political and ideological banner.
